Issue: Export Extension Incorrect in Agility

Issue

Using the Export (.xls) function, when you open the file, you receive a message saying the file format and extension don't match. You can open the file, but when you try to save any changes, it says it's being saved as a Web Page instead of .xls.

Digital.ai Agility versions prior to 21.3

Reason

We actually export in HMTL format, so when opening the file in Excel the warning message is produced.

The cause of this issue is "Incorrect extension." This particular issue will occur because the Excel file you’re trying to open is in fact of a different extension.

Workaround/Resolution

In our latest versions starting with the 21.3 Release, Microsoft Excel exports can now be used to export in the .xlsx format.
