Sprint Close Button is missing in the Agility UI

Reason

There are several possible reasons you may not be able to see the Close Sprint button:

• This sprint is shared across multiple planning levels. Because they share the same Sprint Schedule; and within another planning level, is a story not yet completed and closed.
• The sprint could be shared with a planning level that has been closed. Within that closed planning level is an item that is still open.

Workaround/Resolution Action

If you go to the Details page for the specific sprint, you should be able to see all of the stories or defects that are associated to the sprint. You can customize the grid for each of them to include the Planning Level column.

If there's an item that is assigned to a different planning level or a closed planning level, you will see that disclosed.

This will help you to be able to determine if a backlog item that's assigned to this Sprint belongs to another Planning Level from the one that you currently have selected.
