How to: Reset all Filters on a Digital.ai Intelligence Dashboard

Overview

Unfortunately, we don't have a single button to reset all filters or selectors on a dashboard. If you want to return a dashboard to its last saved state, you can refresh the browser, or you can add a link that reloads the dashboard. The instructions below show you how to create a link to reload a dashboard.

Steps to Follow

1. From the toolbar, select Text insert icon
2. In the new text box, type link text such as RESET
3. Right-click on the text box and select Format
4. In the Format panel, make the following changes or substitute your own preference
   • Font: Lucida Console
   • Font size: 16
   • Font color: White
   • Background color: Grey-50%
   • Outer border: Think Line and Grey-25%
     
5. Right-click on the text box and select Link
   
6. Select File
7. Click on the Folder icon to browse
   
8. Navigate to the folder containing the dashboard - Locations vary
9. Select the dashboard
10. Click OK
    
11. Uncheck Open in a new window
12. Click Save
    
13. Save the Dossier
14. Make a change to dashboard filters
15. Click the RESET link
16. Click on the Go to link to reload the dashboard
