How to: Configure SSO in the Digital.ai Identity Platform

Overview

The following information is intended to assist you in setting up your organization to use the Digital.ai Identity Platform for SSO. This will allow customer platform admins to set up and maintain the SSO configuration, application users, and Digital.ai applications all in one place.

This process is designed to be largely self-service, and the documents provided below will walk you through it. You can prepare by reviewing the Customer Administrator's Handbook.

Once one or more admins are set up, you will have all of the access needed to complete the SSO configuration. If any other users need admin access, you can give them that as well. See doc page: Users.

Below are the steps involved in getting SSO set up. Some are intended for the customer platform admin(s), and others involve Digital.ai Customer Support.

We strongly recommend you review this documentation with someone who knows your IdP configuration and is familiar with SSO concepts.

If you currently have an application/IdP set up on your side to connect to Agility, we recommend you do not reuse it. Instead, we suggest that you create a new application/IdP.

Steps to Follow

  1. Customer Admin: Create a support ticket to engage Digital.ai Customer Support (Submit a request)
  2. DAI Support: Create and/or upgrade platform account(s) for customer admin(s)
  3. Customer Admin: Set up the IdP. This will include providing the SSO configuration files and adding any group mappers (if needed, most likely won't be). See doc page: Manage Identity Providers.
  4. Customer Admin: Set up the applications you would like to access in the Platform and add any application mappers (if needed, most likely won't be). See doc page: Manage Applications.
  5. Customer Admin and DAI Support: Test user login to the Platform
  6. Customer Admin and DAI Support: Test any applications configured.

Note

If you have any questions regarding the documentation provided or need assistance along the way, please reach out via your support ticket, and we will provide additional information or assistance.
